프랑스와 독일의 음악과 교육과정과 교과서 연계 국제 비교

A Comparison of the Relationship between French and German Music Textbooks and Curriculum

본 연구에서는 프랑스와 독일의 음악 교과에서 국가 또는 주 교육과정과 교과서의 연계 방식을 비교·분석하여 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 교과서 개발에 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 첫째, 교육과정과 교과서의 연계성 분석을 위해 프랑스와 독일의 초, 중학교용 교과서 음악과 교육과정의 주요 개정 방향 및 내용이 교과서를 통해 어떻게 구현되었는지를 음악과 교육과정 개정 이념과 학년 군별 교육과정, 음악교과 내용 및 반영 방식을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독일의 교과서는 교육과정에 제시된 기본 핵심역량을 다양한 음악 활동을 통해서, 프랑스의 교과서는 음악역량과 일반역량이 결합한 학습활동을 제시함으로 과목간의 통합적인 교육이 가능하도록 교과서가 제작되었다. 둘째, 독일과 프랑스는 학년군내 학습내용의 통합적 구조를 갖고 있으며 교육과정에 학년군의 학습요소를 따로 제시하여 교사가 재구성 할 수 있다는 공통점이 있었다. 셋째, 독일은 교육과정의 영역 중심으로 교과서에 세부 내용을 포함하고 있으며, 프랑스의 교과서는 교사용 지도서의 역할이 강하여 대주제 중심의 단원으로 구성되었다. 독일과 프랑스는 학습활동 중심으로 음악 구성요소를 제공하여 학습자의 주도적인 학습이 가능하다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the French and German curriculum and textbooks focusing on ideology of revised music education curriculum, grade cycle of curriculum and music contents and application method. The result of this study is as follows. First, while the German textbooks include various music activities, including basic core competence in curriculum, the French textbooks contain various learning activities, combining musical competence with general competence which promote possible for integrative education. Second, Germany and France are similar in that they both have integrated structure for grade cycle, and learning contents. They also present learning elements for individual grade level so that teachers are able to reconstruct those suggested materials in the grade cycle curriculum. Third, while Germany included detailed contents in the textbook based on curriculum’s domain, French’ textbooks are more like teachers guide books that are composed of units with the large subject matters. However, German and French textbooks provided music components through learning activities for student’s self study. This analysis of the relationship between two countries’ curriculum and textbooks made it possible for us to reconsider reconstruction of our nation’s music curriculum, role as music textbooks and teaching strategies.
