음악과 교육과정의 적용에 필요한 내용교수지식

A Study on PCK Needed for the Application of the Music Curriculum

‘음악을 어떻게 잘 가르칠 수 있는가’라는 고민은 음악교육 연구의 핵심이다. ‘교육과정’과 ‘내용교수지식’은 음악을 어떻게 잘 가르칠 수 있는가라는 고민을 해결해 줄 수 있는 통섭ㆍ통합ㆍ융합된 연구 결과이다. 교육과정은 국가수준에서, 내용교수지식은 개인수준에서 통섭ㆍ통합ㆍ융합된 내용과 방법이다. 교육과정은 국가 문서로서 여러 연구자들의 협력에 의해 개정 ? 발전한다. 그러나 내용교수지식은 교사의 실제지에 따른 개인적 경험에 의해 발달한다. 이 연구는 실제지에서 교육과정을 적용하여 수업하는 교사의 교수 역량 강화를 위해 교사에게 내용교수지식의 구성지식 중 어떤 지식을 발달시켜 주면 좋을지에 대해 살핀다. 그 방법으로 내용교수지식의 구성지식을 활용해 음악과 교육과정을 분석한다. 이는 음악과 교육과정이 수업에서 반드시 적용되어야 하고, 그 적용을 위해 내용교수지식의 구성지식이 필요하기 때문이다. 이 연구에서의 분석 대상은 2009 개정 음악과 교육과정의 공통 교육과정 ‘음악’ 과목 중학교 1~3학년군 부분으로 제한한다. 또한 구성체계에 따른 교육과정의 음악과 부분(3. 목표, 4. 내용의 영역과 기준, 5. 교수ㆍ학습 방법, 6. 평가)으로 제한한다. 주지컨대, 이 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 음악과 교육과정의 적용에 필요한 내용교수지식의 구성지식 파악이다.

The contemplation over how to teach music well is the core of research on music education. Curriculums and pedagogical content knowledge(PCK) are the results of consilience, integration and fusion researches to help to resolve the contemplation. Curriculums and PCK are comprised of content and methods that underwent consilience, integration, and fusion at the national and individual level, respectively. As national documents, curriculums are revised and developed based on collaborations among various researchers, whereas PCK is developed by personal experiences according to the field of education of teachers. This study set out to investigate which of component knowledge areas of PCK should be developed for teachers to reinforce the teaching capabilities of those who applied a curriculum to their lessons in the field of education. As for methodology, the study analyzed the music curriculum with the component knowledge of PCK since the music curriculum must be applied to lessons and its application requires the component knowledge of PCK. Analyzed in the study were the parts for the seventh, eighth, and ninth grade in the music subject as part of the common curriculum in the Revised Music Curriculum of 2009 and the parts of the music subject in the curriculum according to the organization system(3. Objectives, 4. Areas and Criteria of Content, 5. Teaching and Learning Methods, 6. Evaluation). The purpose of the present study was to identify the component knowledge of PCK needed for the application of the Revised Music Curriculum of 2009.
