음악대학 개설 ‘피아노 중주’ 수업의 효율적 운영을 위한 개선방안 연구

Study on Improvements for Efficient Administration of Piano Duet Lesson Offered in University of Music

본 연구는 현재 음악대학에 개설, 운영되고 있는 ‘피아노 중주’ 수업의 다각적인 분석을 통해 문제점을 진단하고 이를 토대로 피아노 전공자들을 위한 효과적이고 유용한 수업 유형과 교수-학습 개선 방안을 모색하고 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 음악대학에서 높은 비중을 차지하는 피아노 전공 분야의 단체 실기 과목인 ‘피아노 중주’는 전공실기를 기반으로 하는 중요 과목임에도 불구, 수업운영과 학습효과에 있어 문제점을 지니고 있으며 수강 규모에 비해 적은 시수의 할당과 전공실기와 동일한 형태의 수업 방식 및 교수법의 적용 등이 문제 요인으로 작용할 수 있다고 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 ‘피아노 중주’의 수업운영에 있어 전공실기에서 주로 이루어지는 1:1 개별 실기레슨에 여러 다양한 교수-학습 형태 및 평가 방법 등을 접목, 활용하는 개선방안을 제시함으로써 보다 효율적인 수업 운영의 구체화에 접근하고자 하였으며 이를 통해 실기 기반의 단체 교과목에서의 학습효과와 수업 만족도를 상승시키고, 나아가 예술교과 영역의 교수- 학습 방안 개발을 활성화시키는 데에 도움을 주고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to seek out and suggest improvements of teaching and learning as well as useful type of lesson for students who are majoring in piano by examining some problems through diversified analysis and investigation of the Piano Duet currently offered and administered in University of Music. Although the piano duet , a subject of group practice for students majoring in the piano, accounting for the largest part of the current University of Music is a major one based on major practice, it has several problems in efficient lesson administration and learning effect: allocation of fewer sessions compared with scale of the lesson, application of teaching method and the same style of lesson as major practice may be judged to be factors which decrease some educational effects. Thus, this study recognizes the necessity of differentiation between piano duet and major practice in terms of lesson administration, and then suggests improvements using various teaching/learning method and lesson style other than teaching form of one to one practice lesson in this subject. This study aims to enhance the satisfaction of lesson and learning effect in the practice-based group subject with plan for practical use available in the educational environment of the current University, and furthermore, suggest a direction in the development of teaching/learning method in the field of art subject.
