예술고등학교 음악계열 피아노 입시곡이 피아노교육에 끼친 영향 분석

The Analysis and the Influences of Audition Requirement for the Admission of the Arts High School for Piano Majors

본 연구에서는 예술고등학교 음악과에서 가장 많은 수의 학생을 선발하는 피아노전공에 집중하여 지난 10년간 22개교의 예술고등학교 피아노전공 입시전형의 특징과 입시곡 유형 및 종류를 분석해보고 입시제도에 의해 파생될 수 있는 중고등학생 시기의 피아노 교육의 문제점을 재고해 봄으로써 획일화된 예술고등학교 입시전형의 개선방안을 제안하는 것을 연구 목적으로 한다. 피아노전공이 개설된 22개 예술고등학교의 입시곡들을 빈도조사한 결과 각 예술고에 지원하는 다양한 학생의 연주능력과 적성에 적합한 특성화된 운영이 아닌 평가자중심의 획일적인 입시전형을 시행하고 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안하는 바는 특성화된 예술고 운영을 위해 지원자 중심의 평가방법의 도입과, 예술고등학교 설립취지에 부합하도록 특성화된 예술고등학교 운영을 위하여, 학생선발에 있어서도 획일화된 입시곡 선정이나 방법을 탈피할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 피아노전공 예고 입시곡 선정에 있어서도 음대입시제도 변화에 순응한 보다 다양한 음악적 스타일과 형식 그리고 난이도를 포함하는 레퍼토리의 수용이 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the audition requirements for the admission of the 22 Arts High Schools for piano majors and to provide the suggestions for the specialized arts high schools. Investigating the frequency of the repertoire presents that most of Arts High Schools majoring piano are applying a uniform standard in their audition requirements. This results may explain the problems pointed out by many researchers that the recent curriculum of the arts high school are functioning only for pre-preparatory school not for fitting the original purpose of establishment. This research suggest that firstly, the audition process should be changed to the applicants-centered rather than the assessors-centered for selecting the compatible students of each arts high school. secondly, the audition requirement needs to be flexible to fit the characteristics of each arts high school. Thirdly, the repertoire list for the audition needs to be expanded covering various musical styles and forms from the Baroque period to the contemporary rather than focusing only Beethoven sonatas and Chopin etudes.
