The Development of Basic Orchestral Conducting Technique Movie Clips for Beginning Conductors

교육 자료의 질, 타당성, 효율성, 등을 점검하는 것은 교육공학의 기본이다. 이 연구는 초보 지휘자들이 시간과 예산 및 효율성 면에서 비교적 공감할 수 있는 지휘법 동영상 자료 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 개발한 내용은 자세, 시작, 박자 젓기, 맺음, 악곡의 지휘 등으로 대별할 수 있다. 자료 개발의 절차 및 내용에 대한 상세한 소개를 통하여 후속 연구를 위한 기반을 제시하였다. 동영상 자료를 시청하는 시청자들의 성향에 대한 조사를 통하여 개발한 지휘법 동영상 자료를 제시하는 원칙을 세우는 등 자료개발에서 제시방법에 이르는 과정들은 후속연구자와 유사한 연구를 수행하는 연구자들에게 시사점이 클 것으로 사료된다.

Nowadays, there are various ensemble groups are formed in schools as result of the government s efforts to various ensemble groups are formed on the spot, the occasions that teachers have to guide and conduct the ensemble groups are occurring frequently. Knowing that ther are many limitations in improving the conducting ability of preliminary teachers through the current curriculum of university of education, the center of previous education. The main purpose of this study is to develop basic conducting skill movie clips for the beginning orchestral music conductors. The developed conducting movie clips can be used by the beginning conductors to facilitate their conducting skills. The contents of the movie clips are divided into five categories: posture, proper preparation, beating technique, release, and literature conducting. The art of conducting can be viewed as the most sophisticated musical activity since it requires several musical abilities such as music-reading, music-listening, expressing abilities, and barton techniques compositively. David Elliot suggests that the art of conducting is an example of supervisory musical knowledge. Though, the developed movie clips have many limitations and are not panacea for acquiring conducting skills, the researcher hopes that this efforts can initiate further studies on developing interactive teaching-learning materials in the field of the are of conducting. Thus, some suggestions for developing movie clips are also discussed as a result of this study.
