Orff Instrumental Ensemble Programs and Self-Efficacy of Pre-service Teachers

이 연구의 목적은 기악합주 프로그램이 예비 초등교사의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 연구에 참여한 예비교사는 인천에 소재한 교육대학교 2학년 학생 29명이며, 자기효능감 검사지를 통해 양적연구 결과를, 인터뷰 와 설문지를 통해 질적연구 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 통계적으로는 유의미한 결과를 보이지 않았으나 인터뷰와 설문지에 서는 자신감 향상과 긍정적인 영향이 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 지도하는 교사의 언어적 태도는 학생들의 자신감 향 상에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과에 대한 분석과 함축적 의미를 제시하고, 앞으로의 후속 연구를 위한 제언 을 한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Orff instrumental ensemble programs on pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy. For this study, 29 pre-service teachers majored in music education. Data were gathered through the results of pretest and posttest, a survey analysis, and interviews. The result indicated that no significant differences were appeared on statistical results. However, results from a survey and interviews showed improvement and interest on self-confidence and instrumental performance. Following recommendations are suggested for pre-service teachers’ efficacy on instrumental performance: first, increasing the time for instrumental performance instruction; second, providing opportunities for performance in various ways; third, increasing the time for personal practice in a instrumental ensemble programs.
