초등학교 음악수업에서의 바이올린 지도방안 개발 및 적용

Development and application of teaching method using violin in music class : focusing on the 3rd grade elementary school students

본고에서는 초등학교 3학년을 대상으로 바이올린을 활용한 음악교과 지도방안을 개발하고 적용가능성을 탐색하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 시작 단계에서 필요한 바이올린 교수법과 초등학교 3학년에 해당하는 음악과교육과정 및 음악교과서 내용을 분석하고, 정규교과시간에 실행할 바이올린 수업지도안을 개발하였다. 이어 개발한 지도안을 서울의 C초등학교 3학년의 5개반 학생들에게, 1학기동안 2시간의 블록시간으로 총5회에 걸쳐 적용하였으며, 적용결과를 분석하였다. 악기는 C 초등학교에 구비된 30대의 바이올린을 사용하였으며, 지도는 본 연구자와 바이올린 지도강사의 코티칭 방식으로 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발한 지도방안, 교사의 수업관찰일지, 학생들이 작성한 수업일지, 코티칭에 참여한 지도교사 인터뷰 자료 등을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 바이올린의 연주수준에는 다소 차이가 있었으나, 기본적으로 교육과정에 제시된 ‘바른 자세와 주법으로 연주하기’를 학습할 수 있었다. 둘째, 바이올린을 활용하여 3학년에 제시된 음악적 개념인 박과 리듬꼴, 음의 높낮이, 빠르기 등을 익힐 수 있었다. 셋째, 집단학습을 통해 부담없이 참여하도록 이끔으로써 바이올린이 특정한 아이들만 배우는 것이 아니라 누구나 배울 수 있는 것이라는 인식을 갖게 되었으며, 자신의 소질과 적성을 발견하는 기회를 마련할 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구에서 개발한 지도방안의 적용을 위해서는 악기구입비, 강사료 등이 필요하다는 제한점이 있으며, 재능기부, 재정확보 등을 통한 해결방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the violin teaching method and to applicate this method in the music class of the 3rd grade elementary school students for exploring the ability of application. For this, I examined the violin teaching methods and music curriculum and the 3rd-grade music textbooks. Then I developed the violin teaching method and taught the 3rd grader in C elementary school with co-teaching lecturer according to this and analyzed the results. The results are as follows: First, students are able to learn‘the proper performance stance and way of performing of musical instrument’using violin in music class. Second, students are able to learn‘the music concepts of music curriculum’using violin in music class. Because the violin teaching method is developed in the basis of the violin curriculum and the music curriculum and the 3rd-grade music textbooks. Third, Students participate in the music class using the violin positively, and even students who are not interested in the violin or have difficulty in music lessons find the pleasure and the overcome the difficulty by taking lessons with friends. And teaching the violin in music class may be the choice that students find own talent and aptitude. But, teaching the violin in music class has its limitations it needs the financial support.
