오르프 음악치료가 학교부적응 초등학생의 사회성 및 자기조절력에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Orff Music Therapy on Sociality and Self-regulation of Maladjusted Elementary School Children

본 연구는 오르프 음악치료가 부적응 초등학생의 사회성과 자기조절력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 서울시 M구에 소재한 초등학교에 재학 중인 학교부적응 학생 30명을 대상으로 각각 15명씩 실험집단과 통제집단으로 무선 배치하였다. 실험집단은 오르프 음악치료를 총 15회기 동안 진행하였으며, 통제집단은 무처치하였다. 1회기 전과 15회기 후 양 집단 모두 사회성과 자기조절력을 측정하였다. 실험결과 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 사회성 지수와 자기조절력 지수가 더 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 오르프 음악치료 기법의 목적 중 하나인 사회적 목적과 심리적 목적이 학교부적응 초등학생의 사회성과 자기조절력을 향상시키는 데 효과를 미친다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 오르프-슐베르크 교육기법을 기반으로 한 오르프 음악치료가 학교부적응 초등학생의 사회성과 자기조절력 향상에 효과가 있음을 밝혔다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of Orff music therapy on the sociality and Self-regulation of maladjusted elementary school children. The subjects in this study were 30 maladjusted elementary school children in an elementary school located in M district, Seoul. After an experimental group and a control group were randomly organized with 15 children each, the experimental group engaged in Orff music therapy in 15 sessions, twice a week, 40 minutes each, and the control group didn t. They took tests in basic sociality function and Self-regulation in the first and final sessions of the experiment. The findings of the study were as follows: When Orff music therapy were provided to maladjusted elementary school children, the experimental group that participated in Orff music therapy showed a better rise in sociality index and Self-regulation index than the control group that didn t. It implied that a social purpose, one of the purposes of Orff music therapy, had an effect on the improvement of sociality of maladjusted elementary school children. Also, it denoted that a psychological purpose, one of the purposes of Orff music therapy, was effective at boosting Self-regulation of them. The findings of the study made it clear that Orff music therapy had an effect on the improvement of the sociality and Self-regulation of maladjusted elementary school children.
