미래사회를 위한 초.중등학생의 음악 역량 연구

A Study on Developing Music Competencies for Future Society

미래사회의 요구에 부응하는 음악교육이 되기 위해서는 학교에서의 음악교육 내용이 무엇이 되어야 하며 그 방법은 어떠해야 하는지에 대한 신중한 성찰이 필요하다. 또한 학교 음악교육에서 다루어야 할 음악 역량과 음악 지식의 구조에 대하여 새롭게 고려해 보아야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 미래사회를 위한 초․중등학생의 음악 역량을 설정하고 이를 교육하기 위한 학교 음악교육에의 적용 방법을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 미래사회의 역량과 관련된 국내․외의 선행연구들을 분석해 보았으며, 이를 토대로 음악 역량을 설정하였고, 설정된 음악 역량에 대하여 설문조사를 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한 음악 역량을 학교 교육에 적용하여 교육하기 위한 다양한 의견들을 종합하여 음악교육의 목표와 내용, 교수․학습 방법, 평가 등에서의 방향을 제시하였다.

This study is designed to develop primary and secondary students music competencies that will be required to function well in the future society. Considering changes in society, it is necessary that we reflect what and how we should teach in music classes and redefine competences and knowledge structure of music. In this study, we identified primary and secondary students music competences that would be needed in the future society. Also, we suggested new teaching methods that can be used effectively for developing the music competences. The study is organized as follows. First, the literature review discussed previous studies on competences for future society. Second, we defined music competences for future society and conducted survey to acquire validity of the music competences. Finally, in order to facilitate music teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools, we suggested goals, contents, teaching-learning methods and evaluations in school curriculum that incorporates the music competences.
