2007 개정 교육과정에 의한 음악교과서 분석 연구

Analysis of Music Textbooks based on the 2007 Revised Music National Curriculum: Focusing on the Appreciation Domain of the 7th Grade

본 연구는 2007개정 교육과정에 의해 개편된 중학교 1학년 16종 음악 교과서의 감상 영역을 비교 분석하여 교육과정의 목표와 내용이 개편 교과서에 얼마나 잘 반영되었으며, 또한 목표에 부합하는 체계적인 곡들이 얼마나 제시되었나를 파악하고자 하였다. 또한 이들에 대하여 여러 각도의 다양한 분석을 통해 16종 교과서의 다양성 및 특색을 밝혀 제시하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 학교 현장에서의 교과서 선택에 도움을 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 교과서의 바람직한 방향 제시 및 향후 교과서 개편의 참고자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

The textbook, the most important educational medium in music education guides the direction of music education and presents the content and method of musical instruction. Accordingly, the music textbook should contain the content of instruction in a systematic, detailed, and balanced way. Also, the constant study and effort to compile music textbook should be conducted in order to provide both teachers and students with meaningful educational materials. This thesis aims to investigate the basic direction of the 2007 revised music national curriculum, examine connectivity between the curriculum and the content of the textbook, make an overall analysis of 16 kinds of music textbooks of the first year course of middle school on the basis of it, and analyze the field of musical pieces for appreciation in details, and look for the improvements and suggestions for the direction toward the practical uses. Education of music appreciation in schools is a very significant process which becomes the basis of making students know the aesthetic value of music. For correct education of music appreciation, the teacher should present diverse and effective appreciation materials in order for students to have interest and active learning attitude toward music appreciation through musica classes and the researcher of this thesis hopes that education of music appreciation will help students to make music a way of life and will help students to be holistic human beings who contribute to the desired formation of humanity and the development of music culture.
