음악교과교육의 영역과 역할 탐색을 통한 음악과 교육과정 성격 항의 모의 제작

The Mock Production of Character Items in Music Curriculum through Exploration in the Areas and Roles of Music Subject Education

음악교과교육은 소비 집단과 생산 집단의 수요와 공급에 의한 상호보완적 관계를 유지하며 유기적으로 양산된 사회적 실 제이다. 따라서 음악교과교육은 교과 교육과정에 교육적 보편성과 교육적 시사성을 전제로 교과적 고유성을 함의해야 한다. 이 연구는 수요와 공급에 의해 광범위할 수밖에 없는 음악교과교육의 영역과 역할을 탐색하여, 음악과 교육과정의 성격 항이라는 구체적이며 함축적인 결과물로 만들어 내고자 하는 의도를 가진다. 즉 이 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 음악과 교육과정 성격 항의 모의 제작에 있다. 이 연구는 음악에 의한 교육으로의 음악교과교육의 영역과 역할에 대해 탐색하여 이론적 배경을 쌓고, 이를 바탕으로 그동안의 음악과 교육과정의 성격에 해당하는 8개의 목표 또는 성격을 분석하여, 결과를 제시하는 연구방법을 취한다. 한편, 결과 장에서 모의 제작하여 제시한 음악과 교육과정의 성격 항은 음악교육에 대한 것이 아닌 본질적 의미에서의 음악교과교육의 정의, 필요성과 목적이라 사료된다.

Music subject education is a social substance that was originally mass produced while maintaining mutually supplementary relationships based on demand and supply between the consumption and production group. Thus it should provide implications for its uniqueness as a subject on the premise of the educational universality and suggestion of the music curriculum. This study set out to investigate the areas and roles of music subject education, which cannot help being comprehensive due to demand and supply, and produce specific and implicative results called character items of the music curriculum. That is, its ultimate goal was to mock produce the character items of the music curriculum. It first built a theoretical background by exploring the areas and roles of music subject education as education by music, analyzed eight objectives or characters that concerned the character of the music curriculum according to the background, and provided the results. In the conclusion chapter, the character items of the music curriculum mock produced in the study represent the definition, need, and objective of music subject education in an essential sense rather than just something about music education.
