‘색’을 적용한 ‘기능화성이론’의 음악교육방법에 관한 연구

A Study of Music Education Method about ‘Functional Harmony Theory’ with Application of ‘Color’

본 논문은 인지주의 학습이론의 측면에서 ‘기능화성이론’에 ‘색’을 적용하여 화성의 진행상태를 ‘컬러막대’로 표시하여 교육현장에서 학생들이 보다 쉽게 화성이론을 학습하도록 하는데 의의가 있다. 음악교육의 방법론적인 하나의 도구로써 ‘컬러 막대’(color stick)를 제시하고, ‘컬러막대’에 특정색을 지정하게 된 근거로써 온음계상의 3화음들과 변화화음들에 색채심리학에서 언급하는 각각의 색이 가지고 있는 보편적인 의미를 연결하였다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 실제악곡 ‘고향의 봄’에 주요3화음, 부3화음, 이차적 딸림화음, 그리고 변화화음을 4단계에 걸쳐 적용하였다. 화성진행의 변화를 ‘컬러막대’와 함께 시각적으로 인지하고 화성기능이론을 학습하도록 하는 음악교육 방법론의 하나로 제시하고자 한다.

This study focuses on functional harmony with combination of color , and it will directly recognize a progress of internal harmony. This step will provide easy approach and understanding about harmony. For this step, researcher studies meaning of universal color mentioned in the study of color, and researcher make connection and proof about basis of specific color, which is very harmonious with meaning of universal color. Research applies this basis on real piece of music. First, It ll applied on tonic, dominant, sub-dominant chord, and second step is super-tonic, mediant, sub-mediant chord are applied. Third step is applied secondary dominant chord and then forth step is applied changed chord which use accidental on the same piece of music. From change of ‘color stick’ through this process, change of harmonic progression will be recognized in optical way, and use of harmony will be easily learned.
