The field of young children s music education requires a plan for developing and using effectively the teaching medium for heightening learning effect in a diversified age. In particular, it will be said that it needs to remove the teaching medium in a music class limited to the existing musical instruments and try to use the natural object with the effective characteristic as a medium for teaching music. Thus, this study will examine the validity for using a natural object as an effectively teaching medium in young children s music education and provide a theoretical basis for it. On using a natural object as a medium for teaching music, it mainly investigated, first, a principle for teaching and learning young children s musical activity by using a natural object, secondly, the characteristic of a natural object as a medium for teaching an young children s music, thirdly, music education substance system according to the use of a natural object, fourthly, a music learning strategy through using a natural object as a medium for teaching an young children s music and, fifthly, a suggestion for using a natural object in young children s music education in the aspect of young children s development and learning theories. And it also tried to make them the bases for a study through using them actually in the field of subsequent young children s music education.
