The purposes of this study were to organize a music textbook with teaching and learning activities that included contexts and thus to suggest a way to implement the contents of the Revised Music Curriculum of 2007 in lessons. As the music education community has taken research interest only in musical performance and texts until recently, there are no detailed researches on the implementation of contexts. It s the same with the current music textbooks, which make the major materials to implement the contents of the curriculum during class. Now it s time to organize a music textbook anew. The model of textbook organization suggested in the study along with the inclusion of contexts, which are one of the areas of musical act learning, will present an approach to making music education perfect and implementing making music as daily life that s one of the content areas in the Revised Music Curriculum of 2007.
