청취그림을 활용한 기악곡 듣기 지도

Listening to music is one of the main fields of instructing music in general education. School teachers are concerned about the method how to show musical meaning contained in musical works. In this case visual materials can be useful in teaching musical texture. This study examines listening map especially for instrumental pieces to be used in general music classes. The authors deal with parts of four musical works which are set for fifth and sixth grades, namely The Trout by F. Schubert, the symphony Surprise by F.J. Haydn, Korean traditional music Daechuita , and Sujecheon . On the whole, listening map is put to use in following five aspects: arousing interest in listening to music, catching musical elements, acknowledging musical structure, understanding musical expression, learning roles and use of music. These aspects reveal efforts of teacher to find effective ways to design a lesson of listening to instrumental pieces and are compoundable according to teaching contents to be handle in a music lesson. This paper tries to add new listening maps for example works which can show various features of musical texture. Every listening map has a suitable teaching plan for the question how to apply them to a music lesson.
