Objects ：In interrelationship between criminal and control group we investigated sociocultural factors and clinical scales on MMPI that have significant difference. Methods ： We performed questionaire and MMPI to the military prisoners and compared this results with control group. Results : 1 ) Two group have sigificant difference in religion, education. 2) In the comparison of mean raw score of criminals & control on M M P I clinical scales, 9 showed statistically significant difference. In criminals, the score of Pd, Hs Sc, Pa, M a were high. 3) Discriminant analysis were done about MMPI score of two groups, thus standardized discriminat function coefficients were calculated on both groups. In result, coefficent of H y, D , Pa, Pd, M f, H s were in order of score. 4) Standardized discriminant function coefficient were applied to both actual groups. It follows that an average of 80.67% on new MMPI were correctly classified by such method. Conclusion ： We analyzed interrelationship between criminal and control group through discriminant analysis on the MMPI scores. In result, especially H y , D scale have high discriminant power.
