This study was intended to identify the relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity tendency and psychobiosocial factors among 538 second grade students of three elementary school in Taegu, Korea. The results were as follows 1) The mean scores of male students were higher than female students at every subscales(p<C0. 05). 2) Children of mothers with history of alcohol drinking or smoking in their pregnancy showed higher mean scores at hyperactivity subscales than those of mothers without history of alcohol drinking or smoking(p<0.05). 3) Preterm or postterm children showed higher mean scores at every subscales than those with fullterm (p<C0.05). 4) Children with birth trauma showed higher mean scores at hyperactivity subscales than with no birth trauma(p<0.05). 5) Children in family with low economic status showed higher mean scores at every subscales than those in family with middle or high economic status(p<0.05). 6) Children in family of severe conflict with each other showed higher mean socres at every subscales than those in family of moderate or no conflict(p<C0.05). 7) Children with delayed speech development showed higher mean scores at hyperactivity subscales than with average or excellent speech development(p<C0.05).
