The authors experienced a 36-year-old woman who had suffered from recurent depressions in association with season during the past 6 years. Her depression started almost always in February and remitted spontaneously or with the treatment of antidepressant and neuroleptics by April or May. She usually showed mild hypomanic symptoms in summer.
