Haloperidd과 Benztropine의 과량복용에 인한 항콜린성 증후군 치험 1례

A Case Report on the Management of an Acute Anticholinergic Syndrome Caused by Overdose of Haloperidol and Benztropine

The authors experienced an acute anticholinergic intoxication syndrome in a 17 year-old female schizophrenic patient who had taken overdose of haloperidoK？？ Haldol) and Benztropine (？？ Cogentin). This patient showed restless agitation, confusion, disorientation, hallucination, purposeless overactivity, tarchycardia, urinary retention, pupil dilatation and reduced bowel motility. For the management of this patient, physostigmine (？？ Antilirum) had been tried and proved to be dramatically effective.
