Study of the method for musical activity by Mentoring

  • 24

Most people choose a person who can be their model for life, activities. Mentoring can be a good way for leading students to a better quality of life. we can research for many positiive results of Mentoring in other fields. Mentoring is of the Greek myths ancestry. Odysseus sent his son, Telemacus, to his friend Mentor while he had been in the war. Mentor taught Telemacus about everything for being a respectable person. After that Mentor has meant someone who can give something to the other people who needs help for making situations better. I suggest that some methods of mentoring can be a good way for musical activities. Musical experience of the poor students by their mentor can be more abundant. Mentoring of musical groups in schools are helpful for making their activities to be more significant. Mentoring of musical programs in AfterSchool can make programs become more various. And Mentoring can be used in the classroom. There are many types that can be used. Friends of the same classroom who have a higher ability for muisc can be a mentor. They can give help to their friends who have less ability for music. This contributes to both students for musical problem solving and relationship. We need some factors for successful mentoring of music. First is a enlistment of person as a mentor. Second is education of mentos who can give help to the mentee. Mentoring in musical activities has hardly been studied until now. Mentoring can give a positive effect to musical education. After this, I wish many investigators will study about musical education by mentoring.
