Drug-induced or concurrent psychosis in Parkinson’s disease may limit the use of dopaminergic and other anti-parkinson medications because they may aggravate psychotic symptoms. We report a single case of moderately severe Parkinsons disease patient in whom a series of ECT alone without concomittant use of anti-parkinson medications resulted in amelioration of boty psychosis and extrapyramidal motor symptoms. This beneficial clinical results confirm the efficacy of ECT of selected Parkinson’s disease patients with psychotic features and further suggests that ECT can be an effective adjunctive treatment modality in such cases
