This study was performed in order to see which brain areas were activated during Continous Performance Test(CPT) in the schizophrics comparing to normal control. The correlation between computerized delta and theta brain activity in 16 channels and C P T were investgated in the fourteen chronic schizophrenics and seventeen normal controls. With the values of correlation in 16 electrodes of scalp, topographic maps were created. In the norm al control significant correlation(P<0.05) were found in 13 electrodes among 16 electrodes, most of them were in frontal area. However in the schizophrenics signifiant correlations were found in 12 electrodes among 16 electrodes, most of them were in left temporo-parietal area. This result may imply that left temporal an d parietal areas are activated during CPT instead of frontal area which are activated in normal control
