불량행위 청소년에 관한 사회 정신의학적 고찰

A Socio-Psychiatric Study on Male Adolescent Delinquency

The present study was performed to identify the socio-psychiatric characteristics of male adolescent delinquency and to use them as basic material for prevention of adolescent delinquency, through comparison of those of high school students, night vocational high school students, and criminal adolescents. The author surveyed 826 male adolescents including 240 delinquents, 231 high school students, 216 night vocational high school students having the job by day, and 142 criminal adolescents from adolescent correctional institution in Pusan, through questionnaire in terms of the family environment, the persons influencing adolescent’s behavior mode, the type and frequency of conduct disorder, and the psychologic characteristics. Delinquents and criminal adolescents behaviors had been more influenced on by their peer groups, while those of the student and night vocational groups showed that their behavior had been more influenced on by their parents. 7) In the investigation of the problem behavior, the frequency of conduct diosrder according to DSM-III-R was 3.9% in the student group, 31.5% in the night vocational group, 35.0% in the delinquent group, 75.4% in the criminal group. The most frequent problem behavior was truancy in the delinquent and criminal groups and lies in the student and night vocational groups. 8) In the investigation of the psychologic characteristics,the results o f SCL-90-R were as follows : In the deliquent group, compared with the criminal and night vocational groups, all 9 scales were low and compared with the student group, only interpersonal sensitivity and obsessive-compulsive were low. In the night vocational group, compared with the criminal group, only phobic anxiety and psychoticism were low.
