交通事故患者에 對한 精神醫學的 考察

PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENT CASES

The author studied 38 cases of traffic accident through psychiatric interview with 30 cases under control and acquired the following conclusions. 1. Higher accident rate could be observed in those 25 cases (65.7%) who had responsibility to support their families than those who had not. 2. It was observed that the more environmental problems the person had or the less adaptable the person was to his environment, The more tendency to give in to accidents was he subject to. 3. A considerable number of accident cases could be described as heavy drinkers. Six of them were found to have been drunken or accident. 4. It was proved that 21 of all cases had succumbed to compensation neurosis (55.3 %) 5. Two in accident group had attempted suicide and other two had once involved in an accident. 6. Rorschach test was applied to both the accident group (38) and the control group (30), and the former in comparison with the latter showed the following findings : (1) Decrease of R (2) Frequent Rejection (3) Increase of Dm % (4) Decrease of F + % (5) Decrease of S c (6) Increase of Destructive Index (Sex. blood, fire, explosion,) (7) Decrease of P The author can state that these Rorschach responses may identify results obtained by psychiatric evaluation through individual interview.
