A case emboding the severe mental symptoms associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus is presented along with a review of the literatures. The patient was a nine year-old primary sohool boy who had gradually severe, progressed, regressive, dependent, childish, fearful and suspicious attitudes. He was suspicious which seemed to have been related to some vague delusional ideas. These mental symptoms seemed not to have been originated from steroid treatment. The laboratory findings showed all evidences of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus including positive LE cells.
