Studies on the original M.M.P.I. were conducted on orphanage. The following conclusion were obtained. 1. The mean of each scale of orphanage were as follows： L 58.35 ±6.53 F 8460± 18.87 K 51.40± 10.39 Hs 67.05± 11.93 D 72.65 ±10.03 Hy 62.25 ±8.16 Pd 69.45± 13.71 Mf 6460i: 10.00 Pa 69.40± 13.03 Pt 71.35± 13.92 So 88.95± 13.08 Ma 64.75± 12.49 Si 61.90 土 8.31 Es 35.20±8.88 AI 8.021 ±19.99 IR 1.09±0.024 Code* 8//27,461(5)30 male orphanage were obtained higher scores 2. The than the: female orphanage, especially, on D, Pa, Pt, Sc, and Ma scales. 3. The significant difference normal and orphanage were Pd, Pa, Pt, Sc, and Ma scales that means there were significant meaning for understanding orphanage’s personality pattern. 4. An Ego-Strength was lower than normal about 10.37. 5. An Anxiety Index was lower than normal about 15.37 in the males. 6. An Internalization Ratio was lower than normal about 0.1.
