柱狀片刃石斧의 變化와 劃期

A Study of the pillar-shaped adze in Korea

柱狀片刃石斧는 柱狀의 형태에 片刃을 가지는 무문토기시대의 석부로서 有段石斧와 有溝石斧도 넓은 의미에서 柱狀片刃石斧에 속한다고 할 수 있다. 이 가운데 有溝石斧는 일찍부터 주목되어 왔지만 주로 기원과 전파의 문제에 집중되었고 자체의 형식에 대한 연구는 미진했다. 西北地方과 西南部地方의 有段石斧는 독특한 地域型이라 할 수 있고, 有溝石斧로의 이행과정은 보이지 않는다. 이에 비해 前期의 柱狀片刃石斧는 中期로 오면서 점차 소형화되고 횡단면 梯形이 완성되는데, 여기에 溝가 첨가되면서 有溝石斧化되었다. 주상편인석부(유구석부)는 前期의 역삼동유형단계에 출현하며 中期에 가장 발달하고 후기의 원형점 토대토기단계까지 지속적인 형식변화를 거듭한다. 이후 유구석부가 쇠퇴·소멸하면서 철기에서는 鑄造 鐵斧와 鐵鑿이 가장 먼저 나타난다. 이런 점에서 석기에서 철기로의 대체는 加工具에서 가장 먼저 이루어지는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 中期前半은 유구석부, 삼각형석도, 일단경식석촉 등에 의해 석기의 변화에서 劃期가 되는데, 석부류에서 주상편인석부(유구석부)의 발달에 의해 목제도구의 생산력이 향상되고, 이에 따른 목제농경구의 발달은 농경사회의 성장과 밀접하게 관련된다. 이와 더불어 주거지 평면형태의 변화, 환호취락의 등장도 이 시기에 나타나는 점에서 有溝石斧出現期를 無文土器社會의 變革期로 파악할 수 있을 것이다.

The pillar-shaped adze(柱狀片刃石斧) includes the division-shaped adze(有段石斧), the pillar-shaped adze(柱狀片刃石斧), the grooved-adze(有溝石斧). The division-shaped adze(有段石斧) in north-western region is not directly concerned with growth of the grooved-adze(有溝石斧). The division-shaped adze is limited in near Dedong river and it had strong local characteristics. And it is difficult to concern with south-Chinese the division-shaped adze. The grooved-adze is korean characteristic adze. Because south-korean pillar-shaped adze was developed to the grooved-adze gradually changing small. The stage of growth of the grooved-adze was seen to serial change not only change of stone adzes but also stone knives, stone daggers, and stone arrowheads. The type of dwelling was distinguished with previous period. Provision of stone tools by growth of the grooved-adze was concerned with development wood tools than previous period. The development of stone adzes and wood tools were concerned with progess of social product-power with change of various stone tools. This conditions were connected to growth of agricultural society. In Conclusions The Middle Phase Plain Pottery Society that an new essential elements appear all together is mature agricultural society than The Early Phase Plain Pottery Society.
