Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure and characteristics of nursing college students personality- based on coping according to clinical practice stress. Method: A Q-methodology was used to identify factors in nursing college students personality-based on coping according to clinical practice stress. The 34 selected Q-sample from each of 28 subjects were classified into a shape of normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data was analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Result: The analysis identified four types on coping according to clinical practice stress among nursing college students. The categories were labeled ‘active acceptance’ type, ‘effort’ type, ‘emotional eruption’ type, ‘patience’ type. Conclusion: Through the study of learner s point of view, it is hoped that a differentiated clinical practice education program will be utilized to reduce the clinical practice stress and maximize the effect of nursing practice education through stress coping strategy.
