초등교사의 과학수업 전문성 측정 도구 개발 및 적용

Development and Application of Teachers Professionalism Scale on Elementary Science Teaching

이 연구에서는 초등교사의 과학수업 전문성 측정 도구를 개발 및 적용하였다. 측정 도구 는 선행연구를 바탕으로 초등과학교육 전문가 4명의 1, 2차 전문가 검토과정을 거쳐 개 발되었고, 측정 도구를 투입 및 회수하여 초등교사 226명을 대상으로 SPSS를 활용한 이 원분산분석과 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 하위범주(교사의 전문성 계발 노력, 교육 내용, 교육방법, 교육환경 및 분위기, 평가) 및 34문항에 대한 내용타당도와 신뢰도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 하위범주에 따른 결과는 교육환경 및 분위기, 교육내용, 평가, 교육방법, 교사의 전문성 계발 노력 순으로 나타났다. 배경변인에 따른 결과는 배경변인에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 부분과 유의한 차이가 없는 부분이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 결과를 바탕으로 초등교사의 과학수업 전문성에서 시사점을 탐색하고자 하였다.

This study was to develop and apply a teachers’ professionalism scale on elementary science teaching. This scale was developed into 5 sub-domains of 34 items by experts of elementary science education. The results indicated that all sub-domains and items are reliable and valid. The teachers’ professionalism scale was conducted to elementary teachers. The collected data were analyzed by the two-way ANOVA and t-test using SPSS. It was found that certain personal backgrounds had significant influences on the teachers’ professionalism. Based on these findings, implications for teachers’ professionalism scale on elementary science teaching are discussed.
