시각장애인 음악교육의 연구동향 분석

An Analysis of Research Trends in Music Education for the Visually impaired: Focusing on Research Papers Published in Korea between 1972 and 2017

본 연구는 국내 시각장애인을 대상으로 음악교육 연구동향을 알아보기 위해 1972년부터 2017년까지 96편의 연구 자료들을 선정하여, 분류하고 분석하였다. 이를 통해 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구대상에 대한 연구는 성인을 대상으로 하는 음악교육에 대한 연구가 많으며, 장애유형은 단순 시각장애를 가진 대상을 중심으로 연구가 활발히 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구주제에 따른 교육 동기는 취미생활을 목적으로 하는 연구가 많았으며, 교육 활동의 효과로는 정서적으로 안정을 느끼며 재활적인 기능 향상을 가져왔다. 셋째, 연구도구에 따른 연구는 현경실의 음악적성검사를 활용한 연구가 많았으며, 면접 조사지를 통해 대상의 심층적인 의견을 토대로 하는 연구들이 진행되었다.

This study selected, categorized, and analyzed 96 studies from 1972 to 2017 in order to survey research trends in music education for the visually impaired. The studies were found by searching in the Research Information Sharing Service(RISS), National Library of Korea, and National Assembly Library’s electronic database with the key words “visually impaired music,” and “visually impaired music education.”Hence, 62 dissertations for masters and doctorate degrees and 34 academic journals were selected. First, for research on research subjects, there were many studies on music education that featured adults as the research subjects and that in the category of disabilities, studies that centered on just the visually handicapped were actively being done. Second, for the research topic, there were many studies on music education for hobbies, and it was revealed that the benefits of the education was giving subjects a feeling of emotional stability and enhance rehabilitative functions. Third, for research tools there were many studies that used the music aptitude test, and it was revealed that research was conducted on the basis of the subjects’in-depth opinions which were gained through questionnaires.
