정신과 작업치료의 평가에 관한 고찰

The Literature Review for Occupational Therapy Assessment of Mental Health

이 연구는 정신과 환자에게 적용할 수 있는 전반적인 작업치료 평가도구에 대해 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 표준화된, 비표준화된 평가도구를 사용하는 것은 정신과 분야에서 일하는 작업치료사의 전문분야이기 때문이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 정신과에서 사용되는 평가 내용에 따라 기술하였다: 작업수행, 역할, 흥미, 일상생활 수행력, 수행기술과 수행패턴, 클라이언트요소, 직업, 지역사회 적응과 통합. 또한 체계적으로 정보를 수집하고 통일성있게 나열하기 위해 이론의 틀인 인간작업모델(MOHO) 관점에서 적용되는 평가도구들을 기술하여 클라이언트의 작업적 상황과 전인적 특성을 이해하는 개념적 틀로 제시하였다. 이러한 평가를 통해 수집된 자료는 클라이언트의 요구와 장점을 파악하는데 사용될 뿐 아니라 클라이언트에 대한 중재방향을 결정하는데 매우 유용하다. 이후의 연구에서는 이러한 도구들의 심리측정학적 특성이 적합한지를 검증하는 것이 필요할 것이다.

The aim of this study is to review of occupational therapy evaluation tool for psychiatric patient. The use of standardized and nonstandardized assessment have been followed by occupational therapists specializing in mental health. This study discussed the parts according to mental health assessment contents: occupational performance, role, interest, activity of daily living, performance skills & pattern, client factor, vocation, community adaptive and integration. Also, to gather information systematically and arrange the information coherently, the assessment should be based on the frame of reference. The Assessment of MOHO(Model of Human Occupation) provide to therapist with concepts for understanding the client’s occupational situation and holistic nature. So this study reviewed MOHO assessment according to methods of data collection. This database is used to identify the client’s need and assets and decide on clients’s intervention way. There is a need for further study exploring outcome must demonstrate acceptable psychometric properties of these instruments.
