대입 인성면접의 주요 요인 도출에 관한 연구: A대학 사례를 중심으로

A Study on Core Interview Elements in Measuring College Applicants Characters-Focusing on A University

연구목적: 본 연구는 대학전형 인성면접시 우선시 측정해야 하는 요인이 무엇인가를 탐색하기 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 본 연구는 선행연구를 통해 인성의 영역과 계층구조를 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 설문문항을 만들어 입학사정관 경험이 있는 교수들을 대상으로 면접시 요청되는 인성의 영역과 요인에 대해서 의견을 묻고 계층분석방법(AHP)을 사용하여 우선 순위를 도출하였다. 연구결과: 문헌연구를 통해 제시하고 있는 인성의 영역은 사회적 특성으로서의 인성과 인격적 특성으로서의 인성으로 구분되며, 사회적 특성으로서의 인성은 합리적 사고 및 판단능력(공정함·협동심·공동선 추구·비판정신·갈등해결능력), 민주시민 및 타인존중 의식(관용·봉사·타인존중·공익존중·준법의식), 사회적 소통 및 책임의식(성실/정직·공감·직무윤리·인류애·환경보호의식) 등이 해당되며, 인격적 특성으로서의 인성에는 자연/문화 현상 이해에 대한 독창성(자연 경외심·독창적 표상력·문화의 심층적 이해), 자아 존중 및 표현능력(자기확신·창의적 자기표현·예술적 감수성) 등이 해당되었다. 결론: AHP를 통해 우선순위를 도출한 결과 사회적 특성으로서의 인성에서는 합리적 사고 및 판단능력이, 인격적 특성으로서의 인성에서는 자아 존중 및 표현능력이 상위 영역으로 도출되었다. 예비 대학생의 선발은 대학의 발전 뿐 아니라 중등교육의 정상화를 위한 주요한 기제임을 고려하여 인성의 심층적 평가에 대한 지속적인 연구와 관심이 요구된다.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to explore core interview elements in measuring college applicants characters. Method: The study was conducted a literature review to identify the areas and elements of characters, and also occupied AHP to decide core interview elements in students’ selection interview. Results: A survey questionnaire was developed based on the hierarchy of character, and conducted a survey with 33 professors having college admission officer experiences in A university. The results of AHP provide that rationalization & judgement in social character, and self respect & expressiveness in personal character. Conclusion: The study discussed practical implications to the roles and application of characters in selection process of university students, in order to the desirable growth of high schools as well as universities.
