학생선발정책과 대입제도 연구성과 분석

Meta Analysis on the Policy of Entrance Examination in Higher Education

연구목적: 이 논문에서는 1990년 이후 2012년도 까지 한국교육행정학회 학술지『교육행정학연구』에 발표된 학생선발정책과 대입제도 관련 논문 24편을 분석대상으로 연구 성과와 경향을 분석해 보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위하여 분석의 준거를 설정하여, 연구주제와 논문의 특성, 연구방법과 분석의 관점, 연구내용과 연구패턴을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 이를 토대로 향후 학생선발과 대입제도에 관한 연구방향과 과제를 도출하고 연구제언을 하였다. 연구결과: 분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 논문유형을 이론적 연구, 실천적 연구, 양자를 결합한 종합적 연구로 구분할 때, 대입제도와 학생선발정책에 관한 연구들은 실천적 연구 중심의 편향성을 보이고 있다. 둘째, 논문의 성격을 정책연구, 현장연구, 비교분석연구, 규범적․사변적 연구, 논리적 분석연구, 학위논문을 발전시킨 학술적 연구 등으로 구분할 때, 정책연구와 논리적 분석연구에 집중된 경향을 보이고 있다. 셋째, 연구방법을 양적 연구, 질적 연구, 문헌연구, 혼합연구로 구분할 때, 대입제도와 학생선발정책에 관한 연구들은 24편중 18편(75%)이 문헌연구에 편중된 경향을 보이고 있다. 넷째, 연구․분석의 접근을 거시적 연구, 미시적 연구, 통합적 연구로 구분해 볼 때, 분석대상 연구들은 24편중 19편(79%)이 거시적 접근에 편중된 경향을 보이고 있으며, 통합적 연구는 4편(17%)으로 나타나고 있다. 결론: 아울러, 연구내용과 패턴 측면에서 법리분석과, 정책이슈분석, 정책 및 제도 분석평가의 대표적 사례들을 소개하였다. 최근(2010-2017년) 학술지에 게재된 논문을 소개하고 연구경향상의 특징을 부가하였다.

Purpose: This article analysed the trends and production of research on entrance examination policy articles published in the Journal of Educational Administration from 1990 to 2012. Method: The criteria of analyzing entrance examination research trends are researchers, subjects, methodologies, analytical approach, contents and pattern of research, and so on. Results: The results demonstrated that research pattern and topics have been placed too much emphasis on action research or comprehensive research. There are few studies which have explored theoretically on the phenomenon of entrance examination system or policy in itself. There are much studies about logical analysis research, policy research and documentary analysis in the area of entrance examination system and policy. Conclusion: In conclusion, there are much needs of methodologically diversification for the knowledge base of educational administration research. Researchers should pay attention to theoretical research, comparative analysis, normative and speculative research and so on in this research area.
