키르케고르의 ‘영원한 행복’과 ‘절망’ - 자기실현적 행복과 그 계기 -

Kierkegaard’s ‘Eternal Happiness’ and ‘Despair’: Self-Realization Happiness and Its Opportunity

본고는 진정한 행복이란 무엇인가에 문제의식을 가지고 이를 해결하기 위해 다음을 기획한다. (Ⅰ) 먼저 이제까지 행복의 연구 동향들을 살펴보고, 인간이 인간답게 사는 것을 행복으로 규정하는 인간학적 행복을 중심으로 진정한 행복의 의미를 탐구해야할 것을 주장하며, 이를 위해 자기실현적 행복을 주장한 키르케고르의 ‘영원한 행복’과 ‘절망’ 개념을 탐구해볼 것을 제안한다. (Ⅱ) 다음으로 키르케고르의 실존적 인간이해를 통해, 키르케고르의 인간은 실존해야할 것을 과제로 갖는 인간임을 밝히고, (Ⅲ) 키르케고르의 영원한 행복을 통해, 그가 이야기하는 행복이 참된 자신을 실현하는 실존론적 행복이자 진리임을 드러내고, (Ⅳ) 이 때 참된 자신을 실현하는 과정에서 맞이할 수밖에 없는 것이 절망이지만, 이것이야말로 참된 자기실현적 행복으로 나아갈 수 있는 계기임을 논증하며, (Ⅴ) ‘영원한 행복’과 ‘절망’이 오늘날에도 여전히 물어지는 행복에 대해 어떤 답을 제시하는지 그 참된 의미를 드러내고자 한다.

This article is to solve the problem on the consciousness of what is true happiness. To solve it, I plan the following. First, I examine the research trends of happiness and argue that we should explore the meaning of true happiness, focusing on anthropological happiness, which defines human happiness as being true human, To this end, I suggest that we explore the concepts of “Eternal happiness” and “Despair” of Kierkegaard who asserted self-realization happiness. Second, through the existential human understanding of Kierkegaard, I prove that human being defined by Kierkegaard is a human being with a task to be existence. Third, Through Kierkegaard’s eternal happiness, I show he reveals that happiness he speaks is existential happiness realizing the true self, human truth, Forth, even if It is despair that can not but be faced in the realization of the true self at this time, I argue that this is the opportunity to go to true self-fulfilling happiness, rather. Finally, I intend to reveal the true meaning of what ‘Eternal happiness’ and ‘Despair’ at the present answer to the happiness that is still being bidden today.
