부산지역 치과위생사의 근무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향

Impact of working environment on job satisfaction of dental hygienists in Busan

본 연구의 목적은 치과위생사의 근무환경 및 직무만족을 조사하여 근무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 직무만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 시행하였다. 이를 위해 부산지역 치과 병·의원, 종합병원, 대학병원에 근무하는 치과위생사를 대상으로 설문조사 하였고, 자료처리에 부적합한 17명을 제외한 136명의 자료를 최종 분석에 이용하였다. 분석방법은 빈도분석, 기술통계, t-test, one way ANOVA, pearson’s 상관분석, 다중회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구대상자의 근무환경 평균은 3.37± .54점으로 나타났고, 직무만족 평균은 3.29± .51점으로 나타났으며, 근무환경과 직무만족간의 유의한 양의 상관관계가 나타났다(r=.783, p<0.01). 연구대상자의 근무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 일반적 특성으로는 연령, 직무관련 특성에서는 직위와 근무강도가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 일반적 특성과 직무관련 특성요인을 통제한 상태에서도 근무환경은 직무만족에 유의한 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 치과위생사의 근무환경에 따른 직무만족을 향상시키기 위해서는 치과위생사 본연의 역할에 충실할 수 있는 업무확대 및 체계가 마련되어져야하며, 경력 증가에 따른 전문성과 숙련도를 인정하는 직장 내 분위기와 위치정립을 위한 시도로 근무환경 개선을 통한 직무만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 마련되어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the working environment and job satisfaction of dental hygienist to see how it affects job satisfaction and to explore ways to improve job satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted on dental hygienists working in dental hospitals, general hospitals, and university hospitals in Busan, and 136 data excluding 17 people were used for final analysis. Frequency analysis, technical statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, pearson s correlation, and multI-return analysis were performed. The study participants scored 3.37 ±. 54 points on the work environment, the job satisfaction average was 3.29 ±. 51, and a significant amount of correlation between the working environment and job satisfaction was shown(r=.783, p<0.01). Multiple regression analyses were conducted to determine the effect of the study participants work environment on job satisfaction. In the case of job satisfaction, age and job strength were also significant in the general characteristics of job satisfaction. In order to improve job satisfaction according to the work environment of the dental hygienist as a result of this study, a task extension and a system to improve the position of the dental hygienist must be established and professional.
