Purpose : The purpose of the study was to examine the relationships between self-esteem, social support, and spiritual well-being among middle-aged women. Methods : The study was a descriptive correlational research. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaires from 105 middle-aged woman living in one metropolitan city and two local small city from July 22 to September 27, 2015. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Sheffe’stest and Pearson s correlation coefficients by using SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results : The mean score of self-esteem was 3.70 out of 5. Social support in middle-aged women was 3.74 out of 5 and the mean score of spiritual well-being was 3.16 out of 4. The self-esteem of middle-aged women has positive relations with the social support(r=.566, p<.001) and the spiritual well-being(r=.367, p<.001) and in terms of the social support, it is positively correlated with the spiritual well-being(r=.394, p<.001). Conclusion : The findings suggest that it is needed to develop effective interventions to improve self-esteem, social support of middle-aged women. These results provide guidance for developing education strategies such as educational program to help middle-aged promote spiritual well-being.
