Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of gerontological nursing education on knowledge and attitude for the aged. The participants were 37 in third-year nursing students at K university in Busan, Korea. Method: The data was collected from Aug. 27th toward Nov. 26th, 2012. Result: As a result, the knowledge of nursing university students has been improved after the gerontological nursing education , the knowledge score of physical, physiological and social realm. There has been no significant change by the gerontological nursing education in the attitude of nursing university students for the Aged. Conclusion: Through this the gerontological nursing education in the future may be thought to change the knowledge and attitude of nursing university students affirmatively if the education program grafting the theoretical education together with the practice education is applied by apprehending the level of understanding and demand for the gerontological nursing of students
