이 연구는 한국청소년개발원에서 실시한 ‘한국청소년패널조사(Korea Youth Panel Survey)’ 데이터 를 사용하여 초등학생과 중학생의 생활만족도를 분석하였다. 생활만족도는 일상생활에서의 주관적 인 안녕이나 행복감으로 각각의 발달단계나 생활영역에 따라 다르다. 이 연구에서는 학생의 생활영 역을 학교와 가정 및 지역사회, 친구관계 및 자아관으로 구분하고, 그러한 생활영역에서의 특성이 초등학생과 중학생의 생활만족도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 확인하고 있다. 분석방법은 각 생활영역 의 특성이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 단계적 회귀분석을 통해 탐색하였다. 또한 각 학교급에 따 라 생활만족도에 미치는 영향력의 변화를 확인하기 위하여 초등학생(n=2,565)과 중학생(n=2,872) 각 각의 회귀모형을 구성하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 초등학생과 중학생의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 특성을 확인할 수 있으며, 그 영 향 요인의 변화를 확인할 수 있을 것이다.
By using a sample from the Korea Youth Panel Survey, conducted by the Korea Institute for Youth Development, this study analyzes the life satisfaction of primary and junior high school students. Life satisfaction means a subjective well-being or the sense of happiness in daily life. Therefore, it is to be influenced by developmental stages and life domains. This study divides the life domain of students into school, home, community, peer relations, and self-awareness, and examines how and to what degree the peculiarities of each life domain influence the life satisfaction of elementary and junior high school students. The effects were analyzed through a stepwise regression test. And in order to find out how the effects on life satisfaction differed according to the school level of the student a regression model was established separately for both elementary(n=2,565) and junior high school (n=2,872) students. The finding of this study confirmed the properties that affects life satisfaction and change in the factors that influence the life satisfaction of elementary and junior high school students.
