본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 초중고등학교 현실에 적합한 교사 창의성 척도를 개발하고 타당화 하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 선행연구의 분석과 국내외에서 사용하고 있는 교사관련 창의성 척도들을 분석하여 교사 창의성의 구성요인들을 추출하였다. 이를 기초로 문항을 제작하고 예비검사를 실시하였다. 예비검사 및 본 검사는 서울, 경기, 충남, 전북 지역의 초중고등학교 교사 650명을 대상으로 실시하여 최종적으로 612명이 연구대상이 되었다. 최종척도의 신뢰도 검증을 위해 내적 합치도를 산출하였고, 구인타당도 검증을 위해 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과 독창성, 유머, 이타성, 전문성, 몰입, 상상력, 융통성의 7개 요인으로 구성된 총 30개 문항의 교사 창의성 척도를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 교사 창의성 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .93으로 나타나 매우 신뢰로운 척도라고 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 개발된 척도의 적합도 검증을 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 다양한 부합도 지수들이 적절하게 나타나 본 척도가 교사 창의성을 측정하는 타당한 도구임을 검증해 주었다.
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an instrument to measure teacher creativity, taking account of its appropriateness for our culture and education. For this purpose, the literature was first reviewed regarding teacher creativity and its scale, and then the hypothetical constructs of teacher creativity were extracted for this study. Based on these constructs, this study created the items to measure teacher creativity and conducted a preliminary analysis for their validity. The subjects of this study were 650 elementary, middle, or high school teachers in Seoul, Gyounggi, Chungnam, and Chunbuk. There liability of the scale was tested through the internal consistency estimate by Cronbach’s alpha and the validity of the scale was tested through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. From exploratory factor analysis, this study developed a 30-item scale of teacher creativity which consisted of seven factors including originality, humor, altruism, expertise, flow, imagination, and flexibility. The reliability of the scale was also high (Cronbach’s alpha across all the items = .93). Finally, confirmatory factor analysis found that those extracted constructs were valid by showing good fit indices.
