본 연구는 웹기반 협력학습의 성취도를 예측하는 변인으로 학습자의 성취목표지향성과 상호작용중 심성을 상정하고, 두 변인의 성취도 예측력을 검증하기 위하여 A대학의 한 강좌에서 소그룹 웹기반 협력학습에 참여하였던 71명을 대상으로 연구되었다. 본 연구에서 성취목표지향성은 숙달지향목표, 숙달회피목표, 수행지향목표, 수행회피목표라는 네 가지 하위 수준으로 측정되었고, 상호작용중심성은 내향연결중심성, 외향연결중심성, 매개중심성 세 가지로 측정되었으며, 성취도는 팀 성취도에 개인의 기여도를 합산한 개인 성취도로 산출되었다. 연구 결과, 성취도를 유의미하게 예측하는 변인은 성취목표지향성 중 숙달지향목표와 상호작용중심성 중 외향연결중심성 두 변인으로 나타났으며, 상호작용중심성은 성취목표지향성이 성취도를 예측할 때에 매개변인으로 작용하지 않는 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구의 결과, 웹기반 협력학습에서의 성과는 학습자가 점수보다는 배움 자체에 목표를 두고 있을 때, 그리고 다른 학생들과의 상호작용에서도 자기주도적으로 많은 사람과 적극적으로 의견을 나누고 친밀한 관계를 형성할 때에 가능하다는 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 웹기반 협력학습을 설계하거나 실행할 때 학습자가 숙달지향목표를 가지도록 지원하는 오리엔테이션과 준비과정의 설계가 중요하며, 학습 중에는 운영자나 강사가 학습자들이 자기주도적 학습전략을 활용하도록 지원하는 방안 등이 마련되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to reveal the predicting power of learners' achievement goal orientation and interaction centrality on achievement in web-based cooperative learning. Learners' achievement goal orientation was measured as the level of mastery-approach goal orientation, mastery-avoidance goal orientation, performance-approach goal orientation, and performance-avoidance goal orientation, and interaction centrality was examined as in-degree/out-degree centrality and betweenness centrality of SN(Social Network) data. Data from seventy one learners who took an online course at a university located in Seoul was selected and analyzed and the study lasted for about a month. Results of this study are summarized as follow: First, mastery-approach goal orientation had an effect on achievement, whereas it did not influence on the interaction centrality. Second, out-degree centrality was revealed as a significant variable which had the effect on achievement. Third, by using a hierarchical regression, the interaction centrality did not mediated learners' goal orientation and achievement. These results showed that learners' achievement goal orientation and interaction influence positively on achievement with statistically significant level in web-based cooperative learning.
