이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년의 성 인식 함양을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고, 구안한 프로그램을 적용하여 이들의 성 인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증해 보는데 있다. 체계적 상담프로그램 개발 모형에 따라 성 인식 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고, 전문가 자문과 예비실시를 통해 프로그램을 수정.보완하였다. 프로그램은 성적으로 성숙이 급속하게 진행되는 초등학교 고학년기의 성 인식 함양에 필요한 성지식, 성의식, 성태도를 하위영역으로 하여 총 12회기로 구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과검증을 위한 검사 도구는 성지식 검사, 성의식 검사, 성태도 검사문항을 일부 수정하여 사용하였다. 경기도 용인시 소재 S초등학교 학생 12명을 대상으로 구안한 프로그램을 실시한 결과, 성 인식 함양을 위한 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단과 통제집단의 성지식, 성의식, 성태도에서 모두 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이 연구는 성 인식이 함양되어야 할 시기인 초등학교 고학년 학생들을 대상으로 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하여 그 효과를 검증한 것에 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to develop and execute an educational group consultation program for cultivating sexual perception of elementary school students in higher grade and verifying how it effects sexual perception. The problems are established to accomplish the purpose as follows. First, what kind of contents should be included in group counseling program to cultivate sexual perception? Second, what kind of effects this program would bring on sexual perception of elementary school students in higher grade? This study is based on the systematic counseling program development model of Park In-Woo(1995) which is frequently used in the development process of recent adolescent counsel programs. For the test tool, ‘sexual knowledge’ created by Yang Soon-Ok et al.(2003), ‘sexual awareness’ created by Park Hyo-Jung, Yeon Eun-Kyung (2003) and ‘sexual attitude’ created by Oh Jin-A(2008) were corrected and complemented. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the experimental group who participated in the sexuality education group consultation program showed a significant difference in sexual perception cultivation from the control group. In analysis by the sub area of sexual perception, the experimental group's ‘sexual knowledge’, ‘sexual awareness’ ‘sexual attitude’ were significantly different from those of the control group. In the result, the program was found to achieve a positive effect on cultivating the sexual perception for students.
