본 연구의 목적은 분할함수 성장모형을 활용하여 국내 청소년 불안의 변화 양상을 살펴보고, 그 변화에 영향을 미치는 생태학적 영향 요인들을 검증하는 것이다. 한국청소년패널조사 자료를 이용해 변화 분석모형을 분석한 결과, 분할함수 성장모형이 적합도와 해석용이성에 있어 가장 적절하였으며, 청소년의 불안은 수능시험 전까지 중간 수준을 유지하다가 수능시험 이후로 일정하게 감소하는 변화 양상을 보였다. 또한 청소년 불안의 변화에 영향을 주는 요인으로 성별 효과가 초기치에서 유의하여 여자가 남자보다 전반적으로 불안의 수준이 높았으며, 수능시험 후 변화율에서는 고교계열 효과가 유의하여 전문계 청소년이 인문계 청소년보다 불안이 더 느리게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 부모애착은 부적으로 유의하여 전 시점에 걸쳐 청소년의 불안을 낮추는 중요한 영향요인으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to estimate the longitudinal changes in anxiety of korean adolescents and examine the ecological factors on the changes. We applied the piecewise growth modeling to the KYPS data to analyze discontinuous changes. The results showed that piecewise growth function was most adequate to explain changes in anxiety in Korean adolescence in terms of the goodness of fit and meaningful interpretation. Adolescent’s anxiety was medium level at initial status, and maintained its initial level until College Scholastic Aptitude Test(CSAT), and had declined constantly after CSAT. Women’s overall level of anxiety was higher than that of man, and anxiety in vocational school students, after CSAT, diminished more slowly than in academic school students. And parental attachment, time varying covariate, had a negative influence on adolescent’s anxiety over the whole period of the data set.
