본 연구는 대학생 333명을 대상으로 진로에 대한 역기능적 사고와 학업 몰입간의 관계에 대해 알아보고 두 변인의 관계에서 정서지능의 역할을 확인해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생을 대상으로 진로사고검사, 정서지능 척도, 학업몰입척도로 구성된 설문을 실시하고 변인들 간의 상관 및 정서지능의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 역기능적 진로사고가 높을수록 정서지능과 학업몰입은 낮아지고 정서지능이 높을수록 학업몰입도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정서지능이 역기능적 진로사고와 학업몰입관계에서 유의한 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 진로지도 및 교육방법에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this research is to examine the relation between dysfunctional career thoughts and learning flow and to test the mediation effects of emotional intelligence. We analysed the data 333 university students. We confirmed correlations among dysfunctional career thoughts, emotional intelligence and learning flow and examined that dysfunctional career thoughts would predict the learning flow through the mediation of emotional intelligence. Finding revealed dysfunctional career thoughts were associated with a lower level of emotional intelligence and learning flow experience. And emotional intelligence partially mediated the effect of dysfunctional career thoughts on learning flow. The implications for career education are discussed based on result of the present study.
