가족원 개개인은 가족생활을 통해서 기본적인 욕구를 충족시키고, 개인적으로 자아실현감을 추구하게 된다. 그러므로 개인이 가정생활에서 어느정도 욕구를 충족시키고 만족을 경험하느냐 하는 것이 개인의 삶의 질을 결정하고 나아가 전체 가족관계의 행복에도 영향을 미치게 된다. 자녀들은 독립하기 전까지는 부모자녀관계를 통하여 가족생활을 영위해 감으로 자녀들의 가정생활만족감은 다른 가족원과의 심리적 역동관계 특히 부모자녀관계에서 경험하는 정서적 만족감이 주요한 요인으로 작용한다. 따라서 자녀들의 가정생활 만족감은 가족관계 및 가족 특성을 중심으로 분석할 필요가 있다. 특히 청소년기는 자아정체감 형성이나 심리적 독립 욕구의 증가로 부모로부터 분리와 독립을 경험하면서 내적 긴장 및 정서적 갈등을 겪게 된다. 또한 자립과 부모에 대한 의존적 입장의 중간 상해에 있으므로 의존적 입장에서 탈피하려는데 가족이나 사회에서 가하는 많은 금지와 욕망사이에서 갈등을 경험하게 된다(이정숙 김유광-서병숙. 1995). 이에 Minuchin(1974)은 자녀가 청소년기에 들어가는 시기에 가장 일반적인 발달상의 스트레스는 가족 내에서 겪는 변화라고 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the variables of KFD contributing to discriminating of family satisfaction. The 734 subjects were selected from high school in the city of Pusan. Data were analyzed using M, 3D, t-test, discriminant analysis. The results were as follows; Figure characteristic of KFD were the good discriminant variables in differentiating family satisfaction. For boy students, discriminant variables were their own arm length, mother\'s body completion, father\'s body completion, father\'s eye, their own figure\'s size, size of their own feet, and size of father\'s feet. For girl students, discriminant variables were mother\'s arm length, father\'s arm length, mother’ s eye, their own face completion, mother\'s face completion, mother\' s expression of face, father\'s expression of face, size of the father\'s figure, and size of father’s feet.
