최근 들어 학교현장에서 또래들간에 집단 괴롭힘의 문제가 날로 삼각해지고 있으며 유치원에서 초 중·고등학교까지 그 범위가 점점 확산되고 있다. 괴롭힘을 당하는 아동들은 사회,정서적 적응에 있어 여러가지 문제가 발생하며, 그들은 다른 또래 아동들에 비해 더 걱정스러워하고, 불안해하며, 우울해하고, 상대적으모 낮은 자아 존중감을 갖는다. 또한, 이들은 반복되는 집단 괴롭힘에 노출되면서 학교 가는 것을 무서워하게 되고, 학교에서 다른 친구들과의 일상적인 상호작용에 참여하는 데에도 어려움을 겪게 된다. 마침내 이들은 학교생활에 대한 만족감이 급격히 떨어지고, 이로 인해 학교를 싫어하고, 등교거부에 이르는 학교 생활의 부적응을 경험하게 된다(Boulton&Underwood,1992; Olweus,1993)
This study is aimed to know the effects of damaged children by group bullying on better behaviour through art therapy, to understand the basic cause of group bullying and nuclear feeling of the children damaged by group bullying, and to treat tbe fear, anxiety and psychological trauma of the damaged children spontaneously by communication and by forcing them to make art prorlucts in themselves. The subject of this study is a daughter 7 years old who was attending at the S kíndergarten located in Taegu and was referred together with her mother for the adjust problem to that kindergten by the kindergarten’s chief. The maìn appealing problem in her was the greatest reluctancy to go to that kindergarten caused by group bullying of the same age for past 6 months since last auturnn and an awful headache occuπed whenever going there. This study was perfonned with total 16 session of 28 Feb 2001 to 8 Sep 2001 at a room for individual therapy of the W Welfare Institute, and each therapy was for 50 min and on an average once per 2 weeks in a concurrent separate treatment with her mother. This child was try to take a pretest and posttest, Social Experience Questionnaire(SEQ), K-H-T-P Test, and KFD Test ln final, this art therapy made us find out the main cause of group bullying to that child caused by the childnen. Moreover, this therapy encourage her to express a conflict with her mother, and a complaint and a hostility to her mother. And she was induced to face the situation of that group bullying through a play role by using dolls, and to leam a self role, a self assertion and the methods to cope with various circumstances given in advance. Especially, drawing changed her to express a positive self and to enhance a self expression from a negative feeling repressed by her parents, friends and teachers.
