본 연구는 여러 가지 사회적, 경제적, 개인적 요인들에 의해 발생되는 미혼모들이 낙태, 입양, 양육 등의 선택 결정 순간과 스트레스 대처 상황들에 필요한 자기효능감을 집단미술치료를 통해 향상시키고자 시도하였다. 이 연구에서는 미혼모 보호시설에 있는 미혼모 중 프로그램에 자발적 참여를 원하는 3명의 미혼모를 대상으로 3개월간 매회기 90분씩, 13회기에 걸쳐 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기효능감 사전-사후검사에서 평균의 의의있는 차이는 보이지 않으나, 집단미술치료는 시설미혼모의 자기효능감에 상승을 보였으며, 하위영역 중 자신감과 과제난이도 선호 검사에서 평균의 상승을 가져왔다. 둘째, 집단미술치료는 시설 미혼모의 KFD에서도 자기효능감 상승을 가져왔으며, 하위영역에서도 역시 자신감과 과제 난이도 선호에서 평균의 상승을 가져왔다. 셋째, 집단미술치료는 시설 미혼모들의 회기별 미술활동을 통한 자기효능감의 상승에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 본 연구 결과 집단미술치료는 자기효능감의 하위영역 중 자기조절효능감은 상승이 나타나지 않고 있다. 이는 시설에 있는 미혼모 본인의 현재 위치와 입양, 양육, 출산 후의 생계와 취업 등이 결정되지 않는 상황에서 자기조절 인지과정과 동기과정 사용여부에 대한 효능기대인 자기조절효능감을 사용한다는 것 때문에 치료 효과가 나타나지 않은 듯 하다. 따라서 미혼모 시설에서는 미혼모들의 보호 뿐만 아니라 재교육과 취업 등 장기적인 측면에서의 고려도 이루어져야함이 바람직하다.
This study is intended to measure the effect of group art therapy on the improvement of self-efficacy among single mothers in a group home. In order to measure the effect of group art therapy, these are the criteria used : First, how group art therapy affects self-efficacy, which belong to sub-area; self-confidence and self-regulated efficacy, task-difficulty preference. Second, how group art therapy affects self-efficacy in KFD; Third, how group art therapy affects self-efficacy during therapy sessions; For the study, three single mothers volunteered for three months. Each session lasted 90 minutes, total thirteen sessions. The results are: First, group art therapy did not make a big difference on these women; however there is increase in self-confidence and task-difficulty preference on the mean. Second, art therapy increased self-efficacy in KFD; Third, during the sessions, it seems there is positive effect on self-efficacy. Therefore, along with providing a group home, education and job training are necessary, and are recommended as ways for achieving a long-term goal for the single mothers in a group home.
