본 연구의 목적은 현재 표준화되어 널리 사용되어지고 있는 질문지에 의한 초등 학생의 스트레스와 대처행동척도와 보다 측정 방법이 간편한 빗속의 사람그림 검사와의 비교 검증을 통하여 빗속의 사람 그림 검사가 단일 대안적 척도로서 적절성을 갖는지 알아보는 데 있다. 연구대상은 서울, 부산, 대구, 광주, 울산, 경남, 12개교 초등학교 학생 966명으로 측정도구는 스트레스 척도와 대처행동 척도, 빗속의 사람그림 검사를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료처리는 회귀분석을 실시하였고 분석과정은 SPSS WIN 10.0 전산프로그램에 의해 처리되었으며 통계적 유의수준은 p<.05를 기본으로 하였다. 이러한 연구과정을 거쳐 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 전체 질문지척도와 전체 빗속의 사람그림 검사 간의 관계에서 점수 간에 유의미한 낮은 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째 학년에 따라 질문지 척도와 빗속의 사람그림 검사간 비교분석에서는 낮은 상관을 나타내었지만 저 학년에서는 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 빗속의 사람그림 검사와 질문지에 의한 스트레스와 대처행동 측정 검사의 비교분석에서 전체 초등학생을 대상으로 실시했을 때 부정적인 효과가 있었으나 학년에 따라서 특히 저 학년에 있어서 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다.
This research aims to find out whether drawing of people in the rain has the pertinence as the singular altemative index through comparativeverification of index of stress and coping behavior of elementary students by questionnaire, which is currently standardized and being used widely, and drawing of people in the rain for which the measurement method is more convenient. Research was carried out on 966 elementary students in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. lndex for stress, index for coping behavior and the 'Drawing People in the Rain' test were used as measurement tool. Regression analysis was performed in processing the data collected with analysis process treated by SPSS WIN 10.0 computer program. P<.05 was used as the basis of level of statistical significance. The following conclusions were derived at through such research procedure. Firstly, there was low level of significant static correlation between the points in the relationship between overall index of questionnaire and overall 'Drawing People in the Rain' test. Secondly, although there was low correlation in the comparative analysis between the indexes of questionnaire and 'Drawing People in the Rain' test for each grade, there was significant correlation in the lower grades.
