본 연구는 또래관계에 부적응을 보이는 초등학생을 대상으로 사회적 기술 집단미술치료를 실시하여 아동의 사회적 기술 향상과 또래관계 개선을 이루고자 하였다. 초등학교 4학년 아동 4명이 대상이었다. 사회적 기술 집단미술치료 진행기간은 2006년 9월부터 12월까지였고, 주 1회 실시하였다. 50-60분씩 16회기가 실시되었다. 측정도구로는 Gresham과 Elliot의 사회적 기술 척도, Pettit, Dodge와 Brown의 또래관계 척도, 협동화, 교대로 그리기이었다. 그리고 진행과정에서 사회적 기술의 변화를 보았다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 기술 집단미술치료는 초등학생의 사회적 기술 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 기술 집단미술치료 진행과정, 사회적 기술 점수, 협동화에서 사회적 기술의 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 기술 미술치료는 초등학생의 또래관계 개선에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또래관계 점수, 교대로 그리기에서 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다.
The purpose of this study examined the effect of social skills art therapy on children\'s social skills and peer relationships for children in peer-malajustment. The subjects in this study were 4th grade 4 children in elementary school. Social skills art therapy had been conducted once a week from September through December, 2006. There were 16 sessions and each session lasted 50-60 minutes. The instruments were Gresham & Elliot\'s Inventory on social skills, Pettit, Dodge & Brown\'s Inventory on peer relationshipts, the cooperative drawing & the alternating cooperative drawing. Also the changes of social skills during the sessions were used. The major findings of the study were as follows. First, social skills art therapy was effective intervention in enhancing social skills. There were changes of social skills during the sessions. Also there were changes in the inventory on social skills and cooperative drawing. Second, social skills art therapys was effective intervention in improving the peer relationships.
