본 연구는 아동의 우울과 DAS특성을 파악하여 DAS가 아동의 우울을 사정할 수 있는 도구로서 활용가능성이 있는지 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산과 경남에 거주하는 초등학생 778명이었으며, 연구도구로는 Silver의 이야기 그림검사와 우울 척도를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 척도의 구성을 위해 내적일치도에 의한 신뢰도 검증을 하였으며, 그림의 채점자간 일치도를 알아보기 위하여 상관계수를 구하였다. 본 연구문제와 관련하여 이원변량분석, 사후검증(Scheffe-test)과 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 우울은 성별, 학년. 성별과 학년의 상호작용 효과 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 정서내용점수와 자기상점수에 따른 우울수준은 정서와 자기상점수의 상호작용 효과에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 선택한 자극그림을 분석한 결과 초등학생들이 많이 선택하는 자극그림은 공룡, 성, 면사포 쓴 연인, 화산 등이었으며, 비우울집단 보다 우울집단이 많이 선택한 자극그림은 칼 그림이었다. 이상의 연구를 통해 DAS는 아동의 우울을 측정하는 도구로 변별력이 있음을 시사하며 DAS가 학교장면에서 학생들의 우울을 평가하는 도구로서의 활용가능성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to verify the possibility of DAS as a depression assessment tool for children by finding out their depression and Silver's Draw-a-Story characteristics. The subjects of this study were 778 elementary school students in Pusan and Kyungnam. Research instruments were Silver's DAS and the Depression scale. The reliability verification was performed to compose of the scale through the internal consistency, and the correlation coefficient was calculated to find out interscorer reliability. To analyze the data collected, Two-way ANOVA, and Crosstab analysis was used. The results of this study are as follows. First, children's depression had no meaningful differences in sex, grades and their interaction effects. Second, about the interaction effects of the emotional content score and self-image score, there were meaningful differences on children's depression. Third, the result of analyzing stimulation cards that they chose dinosaurs, castles, a woman wearing a wedding veil, volcanoes more. The depression group selected knife stimulation card more than non-depression group. Through this study, it can be said that DAS has the discrimination as a tool measuring depression and DAS is useful for estimating the depression of elementary school students.
