\'본 연구는 한국미술치료학회가 창립된 지 15주년을 맞이하면서 그 동안 배출된 미술치료사들을 대상으로 미술치료사에 대한 전반적인 정보를 알아보고, 미술치료사 자격기준에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 파악함으로써 미술치료의 발전방향을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 첫째, 현재의 미술치료사들은 대부분 여성이며 40대가 가장 많았고, 85% 정도가 석사학위 이상의 학위를 소지하고 있고 대부분 종교를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전공은 미술치료전공이 40%로 가장 많았으며, 다음은 상담심리로 나타났다. 거주지역은 경상권 지역이 과반수를 차지하고 있었다. 둘째, 미술치료사 자격을 취득하기 위해서는 평균 3.9년 정도 소요되었으며, 미술치료 실시 경력은 평균 5.82년, 미술치료 실시 시간은 일주일에 평균 8.86시간으로 나타났다. 미술치료 대상은 장애를 가진 대상을 치료하는 비율이 높았고, 특히 우울이나 불안 등의 정서장애가 가장 많았다. 대상연령층은 전 연령층에 걸쳐있으며, 특히 아동․청소년을 대상으로 하는 경우가 많았다. 셋째, 자격취득 및 자격유지 기준에 대한 인식도는 대다수가 적당하다는 반응을 보였다. 월례회, case conference, 미술치료워크숍, 기타시간의 경우는 보강되어야 한다는 비율보다 부담이 된다는 비율이 높았으나, 개인분석이나 집단미술치료, 슈퍼비젼, 전문가초청워크숍시간은 보강을 해야 한다는 비율이 20% 수준으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 앞으로의 발전방향에 대하여 논의하였다. \'
'This study purports to grasp general information about art therapists produced from KATA(Korean Art Therapy Association), entering upon its 15th anniversary, and their understanding regarding qualification criteria for becoming an art therapist, so as to suggest a future direction for art therapy. First, most of the art therapists are women in their forties, of which 85% received master's degree and have a religion. As to academic majors, 40% of the therapists majored in art therapy followed by counseling psychology. And more than half of them live in Gyeongsang province. Second, it took an average 3.9 years in order to obtain a certificate of art therapist with an average 5.82 years of art therapy practice, each therapy practice being an average 8.86 hours a week. For the therapy clients or targets, there has been a high ratio of the disabilities or disorders with the highest on emotional disorder with depression and anxiety. The clients are of all age groups with a higher frequency with adolescents. Third, the KATA art therapist's understanding about the existing qualification criteria or standards to be an art therapist and to maintain the status are reasonable. In regards to the events of monthly meeting, case conference, workshop and other programs, the therapists feel rather burdened than comfortable to reinforce, whereas about 20% of them insist that hours for individual analysis, group art therapy, supervision, and workshops by invited experts need to be extended or enhanced. Based on the above results, the study will proceed with a discussion as to the future direction for KATA and its art therapists.
